A new survey says that millennials are working for the travel, according to an article on Forbes. That's not to say that they are looking for a job in which the can travel for work. They are looking to make money in order to see the world - not matter how that takes shape.
According to a recent FlexJobs survey travel is one of the key reasons why millennials work. Seventy percent of millennials identified travel as their primary reason for holding down a job.
"The only thing that ranked higher was paying for basic necessities. The study also revealed that 15 percent of millennials identified themselves as digital nomads," reports William Arruda.
If you are an employer looking to hire people, there are a few things to consider, says Arruda.
One is to let employees work from anywhere. Another is to consider where you locate your offices.
"Locate office facilities near the airport making it easier for employees to jet off on Friday afternoon and return on Monday morning," says Arruda.
Americans already barely touch their vacation days so maybe encouraging their use is a step in the right direction, Arruda suggests.

He also advises taking it one step farther.
"Adopt a limitless vacation policy. LinkedIn is just one of many employers currently offering this extremely attractive benefit," he says.
You can also allow extra time for business trips.
"Allow business trips to have buffers on one or both ends so employees can add some fun to work-related travel," Arruda suggests.
