Wednesday's 2017 Travvy Awards didn't forget a beloved pastime for the seasoned traveler, exploring the world by river cruise.

The third annual award ceremony was a fantastic one for AmaWaterways, which claimed five gold awards, winning the Best River Cruise in the Africa/Egypt, Asia, Europe and Overall categories. It also claimed the Best Cruise Ship in this category with its Amastella.
