The second tip is to respect your roommate’s sleep habits by not turning lights on, keeping television volume low and trying to avoid waking them up. Another tip is to bring ear plugs and a sleep mask to make the process even easier.

Two additional tips involve the even split of drawers, hangers and counter space. This is in line with the fifth and final tip; treat others as you would expect to be treated. Sharing a cabin with someone can be a pleasant experience as long as you show the other person the proper respect.
