Crystal River Cruises, which rounds out its fleet to five ships with the debut of Crystal Debussy and Crystal Ravel this spring, released its 2018-19 river cruise atlas detailing 35 separate itineraries that will ply the Danube, Rhine, Main and Moselle rivers.
"The Crystal River Cruises Atlas is, at its core, an exceedingly practical planning tool for travelers and agents, as it beautifully displays all of the possibilities available to guests who have dreamed of sailing Europe's rivers," said Walter Littlejohn, vice president and managing director of Crystal River Cruises.
"But it goes far beyond practicality to illustrate the indulgent nuances of the personalized service, culinary experiences, expansive all-suite design and other fine details only found with Crystal."
In addition to including comprehensive information on Crystal River Cruises' itineraries, destinations and vessels, the atlas also puts the spotlight on new complimentary bespoke shore excursions, Signature Events and pre- and post-cruise programs.
New itineraries including a 10-day "Enchanting Moselle" voyage roundtrip from Amsterdam; seven-day sailings roundtrip from Vienna; seven-day itineraries between Linz, Austria and Budapest with optional two-night pre- and post-cruise programs in Salzburg; seven-day "Tulip Time" itineraries visiting ports in the Netherland and Belgium; and a seven-day "Magnificent Christmas Markets" sailing between Passau and Budapest.
This year, Crystal is unveiling upwards of 200 shore excursions - 80 percent of which are complimentary - that focus on immersive culinary, cultural and adventurous experiences. One new option, Design Your Time, lets guests use a concierge service that creates one-of-a-kind private tours.
Sites for Signature Events, which will be available on every sailing, will include Vienna's Belvedere Palace, Linz's St. Florian Monastery and Rüdesheim's Monastery Eberbach, and more. Every itinerary will also include excursions to Michelin-star restaurants in such cities as Vienna, Budapest and Basel.
