February is the month of love, and Silversea Cruises wants to make sure travel agents know how much they've loved.
The cruise line has designated the month as Travel Agent Appreciation Month.
To that end, Silversea Cruises is offering travel agents in Canada and the United States a $250 gift card for each new booking made on one of 55 eligible cruises to such places as Abu Dhabi, Bali and New Zealand during the month of February. Passengers can explore Australia and New Zealand with a cruise from Darwin to Broome, or journey across the Pacific on a voyage that takes them from Tokyo to Anchorage, Alaska. Other itineraries include sailings on the Mediterranean, and to ports in Northern Europe and the British Isles, the South Pacific Islands, Canada and New England, South America, Antarctica, the Caribbean and Central America and a host of transoceanic voyages.
What's more, travel agents based in the United States and Canada who book a Silversea 2018 full world cruise (that's 60 destinations in 21 countries over the course of 121 days) will receive their own free cruise in 2017. With itineraries that take passengers to some of the world's most breathtaking destinations, what's not to love?

But wait, there's more. Silversea Cruises is extending that loving feeling by offering Early Bird Booking Bonus Incentives with 10 percent off select 2017 and all 2018 cruises (excluding the full world cruise) provided they are booked and paid in full before Feb. 28. Additionally, passengers who book one of 27 featured 2017 Mediterranean cruises (or one of nine Northern Lights cruises) before Feb. 28 are eligible to receive complimentary round-trip economy air or a business-class air upgrade from $499 each way from more than 50 gateways in the United States and Canada.
Spend the spring cruising from Nice to Rome, or maybe spend some time this summer traversing the seas from Lisbon to Rouen. No matter the season, there's no time like the present to book a Silversea Cruise.
[And with the Silversea Select promotion, passengers can select from three ways to save on voyages to the Mediterranean, Caribbean, Southeast Asia and other ports-of-call. Choose from a two-category suite upgrade, 50 percent off a second suite or a $1,500 per suite onboard credit that can be used toward shore excursions, dining and spa treatments.]
Silversea has a great deal to be thankful for, too, as it recently announced that it has priced a private offering of $550 million notes at 7.25 percent that will come due in 2025. Driven by Silversea Executive Chairman Manfredi Lefebvre d'Ovidio with the support of new CEO Roberto Martinoli, the proceeds of this offering are earmarked to refinance or replace existing debt, specifically the financing of newbuild Silver Muse which is scheduled to be completed soon, pre-funding of capital expenditure requirements and the repurchase of the Silver Shadow.
