Spring Cruise Savings Are in Full Bloom

For the spring season, several cruise lines are unveiling new savings and promotions, even thinking as far ahead as Christmas and New Year’s. Deep discounts are cutting as much as 50 percent off before bonus savings.
The promotion applies to the May 22-29, May 29-June 5, June 5-12 and June 26-July 3 cruises. Before the discount, the fare is $3,875 per person, including accommodations, meals, all non-alcoholic and most alcoholic drinks, shore excursions, expedition gear use and an airport ferry transfer.
“Traditionally cruises on these waters are aboard much larger vessels accommodating from 120 guests and up,” said Todd Smith, AdventureSmith Explorations’ founder and president. “In stark contrast, the new Tahitian Affair that begins and ends in Bora Bora offers unparalleled intimacy in a relaxing, lagoon-cruising style highly suited to this environment.”
Guests can receive up to 40 percent savings on the Danube and Rhine rivers aboard 26 cruises between November and December 2016 on the AmaCerto, AmaPrima, AmaSerena, AmaSonata, AmaStella and AmaViola. Seven-night Christmas Markets cruises begin at $1,680 per person, and New Year’s cruises start at $1,740 per person.
“The holidays are the most beautiful time to visit Europe, with Christmas Markets, festive decorations and memorable moments at almost every turn,” said Kristin Karst, executive vice president and co-owner of AmaWaterways. “AmaWaterways is delighted to offer this year’s Christmas Markets and New Year’s cruises at an incredible value. We look forward to welcoming both new and returning guests with us this holiday season!”
Azamara Club Cruises
Azamara Club Cruises is offering spring savings in the form of up to $2,016 from two offers. When booking select cruises through May 31, 2016, guests will receive a cabin category upgrade (worth $1,016) and $1,000 in ChoiceAir credits per couple.
The accommodations upgrade will move guests up from a Club Interior to a Club Oceanview Stateroom or a Club Oceanview to a Club Veranda Stateroom, and ChoiceAir guarantees the lowest flight prices when booked through the cruise line.
Paul Gauguin Cruises
A $500 onboard credit applies to any 2016 or 2017 sailing, and deposits have been reduced to just $250 per person. The extra savings is on top of the cruise line’s current 50 percent discount off all standard cruise fares and included roundtrip airfare from Los Angeles, California. The offer can also be combined with the option to bring a third guest along in the cabin entirely for free in 2016.
