For the first time onboard The Rock Boat, Andy Grammer will headline along with Ben Rector and Better Than Ezra. Other newbies will include Grizfolk, Jared & The Mill, Andy Frasco & The U.N., Aijia, Ripe and Wrenn. Meanwhile, additional returning bands will be Red Wanting Blue, Gaelic Storm, Green River Ordinance, Melodime, Wild Adriatic, Andy Suzuki & The Method, Welshly Arms, Amy Gerhartz and Brian Fechino & Friends.
"The goal in 2001 was to bring bands and their fans together on vacation for a music festival at sea," says Sixthman founder, Andy Levine. "The Rock Boat is the event that started it all for us and after sixteen sailings the mission has shifted from creating a music festival to setting the stage for a community to celebrate the things they love most in life. Now the vacation feels more like a family reunion for both the bands and their fans while adding a few hundred new members each year."
