Following Carnival Corporation producing three television shows, one each for ABC, NBC and The CW as part of its O·C·E·A·N content portfolio, the company has announced what its fourth one will be: "Good Spirits." The program will first air on FYI on February 16, 2017 and A&E on on February 20, 2017.
The new show will highlight cocktail chef Matthew Biancaniello as he travels around the world aboard Carnival's corporate cruise lines. As you can see in the video preview, hosted at my Popular Cruising YouTube channel and embedded below, episodes will feature cruise ships from the likes of Holland America Line and P&O Cruises much as the previous trio of broadcast shows have. Of course, this particular one will be served with a twist.

"The first three series that launched in the fall have resonated strongly with viewers and the experiential content strategy is generating the intended results -- which is to showcase that cruising is a great vacation experience while increasing interest and intent to cruise," said John Padgett, chief experience and innovation officer for Carnival Corporation, in a press release. "Expanding the diversity of our content while extending into an evening time slot allows us to showcase our diverse portfolio of vacation experiences to an entirely different group of viewers."
The 10-episode series will consist of 30-minute blocks exploring local flavors and cultures as they inspire Biancaniello to craft creative cocktails. Included will also be drink recipes across FYI social and digital platforms and a Carnival Corporation and A+E Networks sweepstakes opportunity for viewers to win a seven-day cruise for two.

"'Good Spirits' fits perfectly at A+E Networks where our diverse portfolio of brands reaches a young, upscale audience with premium, original content across multiple platforms."
On FYI, "Good Spirits" will debut at 6 p.m. ET on Thursday, February 16, 2017; and on A&E, it will begin airing at 2 p.m. ET on Monday, February 20, 2017.
