Waiting in line to board a flight can be a frustrating part of the flying process, but Alaska Airlines is making the ordeal easier for customers wearing a Russell Wilson jersey.
Alaska Airlines is based out of Seattle, where the Seahawks are one of the top teams in the National Football League.
To celebrate the 2017 season, the airline is allowing passengers wearing the jersey of the team's star quarterback to board early on all flights departing from Seattle.
This is the second-consecutive year Alaska Airlines is offering the promotion and the fifth year Wilson is the carrier's Chief Football Officer. Customers wearing Wilson's No. 3 jersey will be eligible for early boarding throughout the regular season.
"As Seattle's hometown airline, we are happy to once again extend this perk to our guests for the 2017 season," Alaska Airlines' managing director of brand and marketing communications Natalie Bowman said in a statement. "We invite all Seattle sports fans to join us in cheering Russell and the team on to a winning record."

In the past, the partnership between Wilson and Alaska Airlines has helped support youth and education programs, including the Seattle Children's Hospital Foundation, Strong Against Cancer and Wilson's Why Not You Foundation.
Ahead of the new NFL season, Wilson took part in a series of six commercials promoting Alaska Airlines, which can be found on the carrier's official YouTube page.
