Stepan Hruda left his iPad on an airplane. However, that he actually got it back was only the start of this crazy story.
Hruda, who lives in New York, took to Reddit and posted that he lost his iPad, only to have it returned with two extra pictures thrown in with the good news-one of which you can appreciate at above. The other is posted over on Imgur.
Losing his iPad worked out for the iOS developer, because he tweeted the following to his more than 1,300 followers:
According to 98.7 The River, the expensive device spent about 10 days at the Reykjavik Airport before it found its owner thanks to the help of IcelandAir.
Metro chimes in, reporting Hruda was quite fond of the new selfies on his iPad, stating the IcelandAir staff truly went above and beyond the call of duty: "This was a great customer experience, I am very happy I got my iPad back and I hope no one gets silly and tries to give these nice employees s**t for it."
Previously, we brought you a story of KLM using an adorable dog to return lost items to its passengers, lending goodwill through an otherwise ordinary practice.
In this case, Hruda has something truly awesome to go along with his iPad 4: a constant reminder that people can be hilarious, amazing and helpful all at the same time.
