Celebrities often have to dig deep for anecdotes when dealing with a tour of various late-night shows. However, Jennifer Lawrence might be better served keeping this story about scratching her butt on sacred stones to herself.
As The Guardian reports, the actress from the upcoming movie "Passengers," along with co-star Chris Pratt and chef Jamie Oliver, were on "The Graham Norton Show" recently. The show eventually meandered towards a story Lawrence has told before when she was on "Live with Kelly and Michael," back in 2013. Well, she still think it's funny.
The Guardian notes many are upset with the story, and you will see why the moment you peruse the following video.
Lawrence shares the moment she was in Hawaii to film "The Hunger Games," although a specific location is never offered.
While a story of briefly scratching her booty on sacred rocks may be a matter of whimsy for Lawrence, you can see why many are taking umbrage with the story of flippantly disrespecting a culture and hallowed area.

Lawrence begins: "We we're filming in Hawaii and there were sacred rocks. And they were, I don't know, they were ancestors."
Years later the magnitude of the moment continues to escape Lawrence as she continues, "Who knows?"
Then the story really takes off: "They were sacred and you're not supposed to sit on them, because you're not supposed to expose your genitalia to them. I, however, was in a wetsuit for this whole shoot - oh my god, they were so good for butt itching."
Lawrence goes on to explain that she became so enamored with the scratching that she dislodged a boulder, which rolled down the side of this mountain.
Lawrence states that this boulder, "almost killed our sound guy."
Because this story wouldn't be complete without painting an image of clueless natives, Lawrence continues: "And all the Hawaiians were like: 'Oh my god, it's the curse.' And I'm in the corner going, I'm your curse. I wedged it loose with my ass."
Hopefully this story does some good outside of giving the Naked Chef a good laugh. It serves as a reminder that whether traveling for work or pleasure, there is a need to enjoy the sights and sounds with at least a modicum of respect and decorum.
Or, at the absolute least, attempt to refrain from rubbing your person on any sacred stones.
