Kanye West begged Kim Kardashian for some alone time after spending New Year's with her entire family.
During an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live on Jan. 23 (watch the video below), where Kim showed off her amazing post-baby body in a cropped top and clinging skirt, the 33-year-old reality star explained, "We spent New Year's in a condo with my mother and Kanye said 'Can we just have three days to ourselves without your family?' so we went to Paris."
They even left baby North West at home!
"It was too far for North to come so my mom and my sisters all looked after her. [Kanye has] moved in with me, my mom, two little sisters so that's why we needed to get away. We live with my mom because our house is being worked on right now," she said.
Kim also revealed that the couple will definitely marry this summer in Paris, as we previously reported, and she will likely change her name.
She said, "I'll probably be Kim Kardashian West and change Kardashian to my middle name."
She also explained why they chose Paris for their wedding destination. "Paris is our second home. We spend so much time there, we have an apartment there. I'm not telling where or the date but it's definitely Paris."
After Kim and Kanye posted a photo of themselves in front of the Palace of Versailles last week, it seemed like a dead giveaway that they'd be getting married there. However, officials have reportedly denied the couple's request to use the landmark as their venue. Still, we're happy to hear they WILL get married in Paris.
We're also happy to hear that Kim and Kanye, 36, managed to get some alone time together.
