This year, Disneyland park is celebrating Star Wars Day (May 4th, as in "May The Fourth Be With You") by hosting several special events, offers, screenings and trivia games.
Here’s a breakdown of the park's May 4th offerings:
• A special screening of a fan-favorite "Star Wars Rebels" episode, "Shroud of Darkness," in which “Kanan, Ezra and Ahsoka return to the Jedi Temple on Lothal to find out how the Inquisitors have continually been able to track the rebels. Seeking the advice of Yoda, voiced by Frank Oz, the three will experience powerful visions that reveal the future, the past and old friends long gone.” The screening will take place at the Tomorrowland Theater.
• An exclusive fan celebration will be held at Galactic Grill Stage with special surprises throughout the night.
• "Star Wars" trivia will also take place at the Galactic Grill Stage beginning at 6 p.m.
• Commemorative merchandise and all-new "Star Wars" collector glasses only available at Disneyland.
Of course, "Star Wars" Launch Bay and Hyperspace Mountain will also be open to parkgoers all day. One-day tickets can be purchased at disneyland.disney.go.com.
Can’t make it to Disney on May 4 but you still want to celebrate? Why not book a "Star Wars" Day at Sea. From January through April 2017, Disney Cruise Line guests will be able to enjoy the return of "Star Wars" Day at Sea where fans can take part in the on-board version of the Jedi Training Academy, watch screenings of the movies and score exclusive "Star Wars" merchandise.
