Universal Orlando Resort announced Thursday that a new Christmas experience would be coming to The Wizarding World of Harry Potter as part of the theme park's destination-wide Holiday celebration.
Starting on Nov. 18 and running through, Jan. 6, 2018, Harry Potter fans will be able to see, feel and even taste what it's like to celebrate the magic of Christmas at Universal's Wizarding World. The festivities start at night with Hogwarts castle as projection mapping and special effects will cover the structure in memorable Christmas moments from the Harry Potter series.

As guests make their way down the streets of both Hogsmeade and Diagon Alley, they will notice the ornate garlands lining the lanes and the storefronts decked out with uniquely-themed decorations. Visitors will also be treated to holiday themed food, drinks and entertainment.
In addition to the Christmas experience coming to The Wizarding World of Harry Potter, Universal Orlando has announced a new holiday parade featuring Macy's. The parade will be highlighted by detailed floats, balloons and beloved characters, including the Minions, Shrek and even Santa Claus.

Officials from Universal Orlando announced that more details about Christmas in The Wizarding World of Harry Potter and the new holiday parade will be available in the coming months.
To gain access resort-wide holidays celebration, all visitors must do is purchase the regular admission to Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure. Universal is also offering a special vacation package for the holiday experiences, starting at $165 per adult, per night, that includes admission to all three theme parks, including the new water theme park, Volcano Bay.
