Add These Books to Your Summer Reading List

Armchair travel — or in this case — beach chair travel is the best and the folks over at iDiva have some suggestions for your summer reading list sure to inspire your wanderlust and give you a case of the giggles. 

India seems to take center stage on the list with two of the five titles focusing their tales on travel within the country. 

“Holy Cow! An Indian Adventure" chronicles journalist Sarah Macdonald’s adventures in India while she backpacked throught the country facing pollution, heat and poverty. She wasn’t charmed but still returned to India 11 years later, moving to New Delhi with the love of her life and leaving her dream job behind.

Also on the list is “Are You Experienced,” by William Sutcliffe about Liz and Dave who travel to India together but for wholly different reasons. Needless to say, the two have totally different experiences. One falls in love with the country and the culture, the other realizes they have bad karma.
