Apple Inc. Co-Founder Steve Wozniak will be the keynote speaker at the Travel Leaders Network's 2017 International Conference, slated for April 29 to May 4 at the Loews Royal Pacific Resort at Universal Orlando.
More than 2,000 travel industry professionals are expected to attend.
Travel Leaders Network is comprised of nearly 7,000 locations in both the U.S. and Canada who represent more than $17 billion in annual sales. The network offers both franchise (Associate) and consortium (Member) solutions depending on each agency's objectives and needs.
"We are thrilled to announce that Apple Inc. co-founder Steve Wozniak has accepted our invitation to serve as this year's keynote speaker," said Roger E. Block, president of Travel Leaders Network. "As a renowned American inventor, philanthropist, author and so much more, Steve Wozniak helped revolutionize how we use computers in our everyday lives.
"It is truly an honor to secure such a remarkable keynote speaker for our inaugural Conference, perfectly underscoring our 'Be a Leader' theme designed to encourage our members to continue innovating and leading the way in the travel industry and with the traveling public."
Block was referring to what will be the first conference for the Travel Leaders Network, which was formed by the merger of Travel Leaders Associates, Results! Travel and Vacation.com.

Wozniak, a technology icon with 30-plus years experience at Apple, helped spark the public's imagination on how computers could enhance daily lives through his design of Apple's first line of products-the Apple I and II-and his influence over the popular Macintosh.
For his achievements at Apple, Wozniak was awarded the National Medal of Technology in 1985, the highest honor bestowed on America's leading innovators. In 2014, he was awarded the Hoover Medal-a prestigious honor given for "outstanding extra-career services by engineers to humanity"-and was inducted into the IndustryWeek Manufacturing Hall of Fame.
Wozniak is now Chief Scientist at Primary Data and is a published author with the 2006 release of his New York Timesbest-selling autobiography, "iWoz: From Computer Geek to Cult Icon."
In addition to Wozniak's keynote address, the Travel Leaders Network conference will feature its trade show of more than 170 exhibitors, over 230 training workshops, supplier partner seminars and the Experience Room for members to learn about each Travel Leaders Network offering from subject matter experts.

Another conference highlight is its venue within Universal Orlando Resort, featuring an exclusive, (closed to the public), evening of entertainment at Universal Studios Florida. Entertainment during the conference will also include a performance by the cast of the new Broadway hit musical, "A Bronx Tale."
