Soon guests staying at Marriott Hotels won't have to look far for inspiration.
The hotel chain announced Thursday that it has entered into a partnership with non-profit organization TED to feature its signature talks and other content among its in-room television programming.
By this upcoming fall, Marriott will offer content in the form of blogs, curated TED Talks and inspirational quotes through not only guestroom entertainment but the landing page for hotel Internet. TED will create original videos specifically for Marriott Hotels guests that will also be made available through the brand's various social media channels.
What's more, corporate travelers will be able to access an "inspirational menu" of TED assets for on-site meetings at Marriott Hotels properties.

As part of the partnership, Marriott Hotels will also host a series of five TED Talks Fellows salons in major cities around the world, including Seattle, London, Dubai, Bangkok and Santiago. The events - the first of which recently took place at the newly-opened Marriott hotel in Bellevue, Washington, outside of Seattle - will continue throughout this year and into 2017.
"TED content does not only entertain, but educates and engages on topics that are relevant to our guests," said Marriott Hotels' vice president and global brand manager Matthew Carroll in a statement. "Together we are delivering a series of original content, events and experiences that will spark travelers' creativity and inspire new perspectives."
The content will be curated so that it's relevant to Marriott guests and themes will change each quarter.
The new partnership with TED comes one month before the grand opening of the Charlotte Marriott City Center, which will serve as an innovation lab for the Marriott brand.
