Marriott Content Studio debuted a new reality series Thursday titled "Hotel Countdown," the Hollywood Reporter reported.
The series will feature six half-hour episodes designed to take travelers behind the scenes of what goes into opening a brand new hotel.
The episodes will follow hotel teams through the ups and downs as they count down to opening.
The first episode premiered Thursday and features the Moxy New Orleans, which became one of the millennial-inspired lifestyle brand's first properties to open in the U.S. earlier this year.
The premiere episode is available for viewing exclusively on Moxy Hotel's YouTube channel. However, there are plans to roll out the content on a larger scale through a global multiplatform distribution strategy on digital, TV, in-hotel, partner and owned channels.

"We're really looking forward to our first foray into a reality series that centers around our hotels and associates," Marriott's vice president creative and content David Beebe told the Hollywood Reporter. "By showcasing different brands across our global portfolio, we'll be able to tell a brand-new and compelling story with each episode and highlight the amazing work of our associates."
The series is unique in that viewers will be able to see all that goes into getting a hotel ready for guests, including the hiring process, how furniture and decorations are selected and a variety of other challenges.
