Hyatt Gold Passport is encouraging members to get out and travel this spring with the launch of its Stay More Play More promotion.

Launching Friday, the promotion will allow members of Hyatt Hotels' loyalty program to earn thousands of bonus points on stays between April 1 and June 30, 2016.

Members are able to earn up to 5,000 points after their first five eligible nights. After five nights, the rewards ramp up with bonus points increasing exponentially. For example, members will earn 15,000 points for 10 eligbile nights and as many as 75,000 points after 25 eligible nights.

After earning bonus points, members can then redeem them for free stays or dining and spa experiences at their favorite hotels.

Participating in this spring's promotion requires members to register by the end of June 2016, reserve a room and complete the minimum of five eligible nights and provide a membership number at the time of check in.

Like most other hotel loyalty reward programs, Hyatt Gold Passport is free to join.

Recent data collected by the InterContinental Hotels Group found that hotel loyalty program members most often redeem their points for free nights, meaning that Hyatt Gold Passport members who participate in the Stay More Play More promotion are likely to cash in on free hotel stays this summer.
