Delta apparently contacted all of the passengers who were to be on the flight to Atlanta because there was going to be a delay, the newspaper reported. The airline was unable to reach Schneider because it had the wrong phone number for him.
Delta allowed Schneider to either keep his original flight or book a new flight, the newspaper said. He chose to stick around for his original flight, making him the sole passenger aboard the aircraft.
