Irish Tourist Falls 6 Floors to Her Death in Tenerife

The body of a 22-year-old Irish woman was found Wednesday night outside of an apartment building on the Spanish island of Tenerife, The Telegraph reported.
Ramona Fagan of Cork, Ireland, had fallen from the sixth-floor balcony of the apartment she was staying in while on vacation in the tourist area of Arona, according to The Telegraph.
Police told the newspaper that no arrests had been made in connection with the incident. As of Friday night, they were still awaiting post-mortem results to determine the cause of the fall and whether or not it was an accident.
According to The Telegraph, Fagan was thought to have been on a six-week vacation with a friend in the Canary Islands.

A quick search on Facebook reveals heartfelt comments from Fagan’s friends, saying goodbye for the last time.
One friend, Jinty Mcgrath, posted the following on his Facebook page on June 16: “A gorgeous young girl with a contagious smile. Thinkin of your family and big group of friends. A sad day for the parish. Rip Ramona Fagan xxx.”
Another friend, Nicole Keane, posted this on Facebook on June 16: “Can not believe I'm writeing this u were a beautiful young girl taken to soon rip Ramona Fagan xxxx.”
The Department of Foreign Affairs told the newspaper it is giving consular assistance to Fagan’s family.
