Allianz Global Assistance has announced that it has enhanced its popular AgentMax Online platform for travel agents.
The travel insurance and assistance company revealed that the upgrades being rolled out this month include the ability to scan credit cards via a smartphone camera, a revamped QuoteMax tool capable of generating faster quotes for clients, access to customized analysis reports and the ability to provide recommendations based on real-time trip information.
The new-look program is undoubtedly welcome news for travel agents who utilize the award-winning tools.
"Travel agents are experts in selling travel, and AgentMax allows them to spend more time doing what they do best," said Allianz Global Assistance USA's director of partner solutions Christian Schlebusch in a statement.
"Now the AgentMax Online platform makes offering travel insurance faster, easier and with more powerful tools to serve customers more effectively and grow their revenue."
Launched at the end of 2015, AgentMax has been tested and redesigned with the help of travel agents, who can access the program across a variety of different devices, including tablets and smartphones.
This fall's AgentMax improvements come on heels of Allianz's recently-announced partnership with Priceline that makes it the website's travel insurance supplier.
The company currently provides travel insurance to approximately 21 million people annually.
