Traveling is awesome, but it can also be tiring and dotted with complications.
That's why we have gadgets. The good ones make our lives easier and less stressful.
Whether you are tired of disposable razors at hotels or, well, simply tired, there are several innovative gadgets out there that can improve your health, energy and peace of mind, while also fueling your passions.
Travel is meant to be an enjoyable and life-changing endeavor. Here are five cool gadgets that will make your travels even more rewarding.
ENDEVR Edge LET Ion Bracelet
Perhaps even more fascinating than what the ENDEVR Edge LTE Ion Bracelet can supposedly do for you is the process in making one.
The bracelet, which is designed to refresh and reenergize you, is made with seven different natural minerals. The minerals are transported from natural environments like caves to the laboratory and then charged with Far Infrared waves similar to natural sunlight.
The bracelet is used by travelers ranging from city tourists to extreme sports enthusiasts.
You can hand wash and air dry the bracelets.
ENDEVR's mission statement is pretty cool, too: "Our goal is to help people overcome odds and inspire them to face their fears, doubts, and critics to do great things. We work to innovate great products that support us in our quests and promote the unconquerable spirit within us all."
Sounds like something that goes hand-in-hand with travel, doesn't it?
DLP Pico Projector
Want to display your travel videos to those around you during your travels?
Don't want to lug around a giant projector?
Then you may want to think about purchasing DLP Pico Projectors.
DLP Pico Projectors can either fit in the palm of your hand or be integrated into your smartphone. They can be connected to any device's out port, from iPods to laptops to digital cameras, and then broadcast anywhere, from ceilings to city walls to city streets.
The mini projectors are ideal for travelers who want something that doesn't take up a lot of space and is easy to carry around.
No more squinting at your smartphone's videos. With Pico Projector technology, just beam it up to a nearby wall to share with fellow travelers and friends.
Trackstick Mini
Who said bigger is better?
The Trackstick Mini is another tiny gadget that can be very useful to travelers.
The 3.5-inch gadget records your every step, as well as stop times, speed, direction and altitude through GPS technology.
When your adventures are over, just plug it into your computer's USB port and watch it geo-tag your travels around the world through the complimentary Trackstick Manager program, fully integrating with Google Earth, Google Maps, Microsoft Live and more.
Trackstick Mini works on a built-in lithium-ion battery that can be fully charged in an hour through your computer's USB port.
The smallest GPS tracker in its class also requires no monthly fees and comes complete with a magnetic mount.
There are also other forms of Tracksticks, including the Trackstick II, which includes more space (4MB of built-in storage).
SteriPEN Ultra UV Water Purifier
SteriPEN Ultraviolet Water Purifiers, particularly the "Ultra" edition, are not only nifty, they could also save you from sickness and disease.
The Ultra model, about the size of your hand, purifies drinking water in about 48 seconds. Just press a button, submerge the UV lamp in the water and watch the countdown on the gadget's screen. Once your lamp goes off and a smile beams at you from the screen, it is safe to drink the water.
SteriPEN Water Purifiers also have built-in batteries that are rechargeable. When the Ultra model is fully charged, it can treat 100 half liters or 50 full liters and its UV lamp can last for 8,000 treatments.
The SteriPEN Ultra claims to eliminate over 99.9 percent of bacteria, viruses and protozoa that cause water-born disease.
So, if you do get sick while using the SteriPEN Ultra, chances are you are just one unlucky individual.
Sharper Image Rechargeable USB Travel Razor
If you are a manly man like me, if you don't shave for about a week, you start looking like Grizzly Adams (insert "Happy Gilmore" line here: "Grizzly Adams did have a beard!").
So, when I saw the Sharper Image Rechargeable USB Travel Razor, which is a little bit smaller than a smartphone, I just about flipped out.
During my travels, I usually end up having to bring a bulky electric razor with those annoying cords or end up either asking for or buying cheap disposable razors at hotels that hurt my face.
This product is a dream in that regard. It can shave for up to 30 minutes when fully charged.
Sharper Image, you've won my heart once again.
