Bio
Siera Duiser has been a travel advisor since 2012. She began in the industry by focusing on family travel, but has grown to include romance and luxury travel in her business. She obtained her VTA and MCC and is currently working on her CTIE. She's a champion for Women of TLN and a member of the Luxury Leaders Alliance and Honeymoon and Destination Wedding Leaders Alliance. Duiser has also been recognized as Travel Agent’s 30 Under 30.
She's worked tirelessly to build her travel business, serving her clients and now regularly books over $1 million in sales annually. Being part of an agency with more than 300 agents scattered across the country, she wants to foster a sense of community by both helping other agents grow their business and find friendships so they never feel alone in this industry, regardless of where they work on a day-to-day basis.
Duiser is a mom of two young children working exclusively from home, and has also experienced the challenges of being able to attend FAMs exclusively offered for agents. With children not old enough for school yet not needing daycare regularly as a result of working as a remote advisor, she wanted to be able to travel more, but also benefit from learning opportunities and site inspections with suppliers and destinations. She began reaching out to my BDMs and using those relationships she had already developed with suppliers to begin offering travel opportunities for agents who either wanted someone to travel with them or needed to bring their families along.
She also expanded the service to matching agents who would like to travel on these experiences, but may not have anyone to travel with or share a room with, so these agents no longer have to travel alone and can also form relationships with fellow advisors in the industry.
Duiser was named a Champion for Women of Travel Leaders Network in 2024, which has allowed her to foster a community within Travel Leaders Network. She hosts monthly meetings to help agents grow both professionally and personally with formal speakers in addition to small group, roundtable discussions.
Her most outstanding qualities are her resilience and commitment to her clients. I truly serve as their advocate. I am on their side first and foremost, from creating plans that excite and inspire them to assisting them should anything go awry. She also has a genuine passion for travel, which goes far beyond just transactional booking travel.
Duiser is 35 years old.
