Marisa DeSalvio

Marisa DeSalvio became a travel advisor because travel changed her life. At just 22, she moved to the Middle East to become an English teacher and spent 3 years living and traveling throughout the region. Marisa traveled solo to the Maldives and China, hiked the Everest trail, swam with sharks - each time surprising herself that a shy girl from the middle of nowhere upstate NY could jump into these fantastic adventures. With the courage she gained through these adventures, she runs DeSalvio Travel, a luxury travel agency affiliated with Brownell Travel, and uses her creative writing background to write stories and advice from her travels and experiences.
