Also, the Blue-Chip system rewards customers who have rented a car for 16 days by providing the 17^th day for free. Dollar Rent A Car has more than 647 locations in 53 countries. Many of the Dollar Rent A Car locations are centralized in Europe, the Caribbean, and Latin America. In November 2012, the company was acquired by Hertz Global Holdings.
