While already an incredibly popular destination, Los Cabos is constantly working to keep itself top of mind among travelers. That effort includes ensuring that there's always new and exciting offerings and activities. At a recent VIP Summit for the tourism industry, the Los Cabos Tourism Board unveiled 10 new experiences that should be on your radar for 2019. Designed to allow visitors to explore the destination in new and more unique and immersive ways, the experiences range from mountain biking and glamping packages to art to table or farm to table events. Here's a closer look.

The Amazing Tenors

This magical experience is designed to engage the senses and emotions. The 6.5 hour-trip includes a private concert delivered by humpback whales, a screening at the only cinema on the high seas and an exquisite dinner at one of the most exclusive restaurants in Cabo.

How exactly do whales give a concert you may ask? Via a hydrophone that's submerged into the sea while you're sailing aboard a 64-foot yacht or Zodiac boat.

Blamping

An experience aimed at the extreme sport and nature lovers, the new mountain biking and glamping packages include exploring a network of trails by bike and a three-day stay in a glamping-style luxury tent in the desert. Each day there will be a new bike ride. After three full days of biking and energy-loaded meals, participants are taken to the town of El Triunfo for a brief tour of the history of the community and a well-deserved craft beer in El Minero.

Art to Table

This special tour is described as "an immersion in art, amongst brush strokes and lines traced with the dinner ingredients." The experience includes visiting the painter Leonora Carrington's corridor in Puerto Los Cabos and a unique "Art To Table" session at La Revolución restaurant.

Meet the Locals

It is people that bring a destination to life. San José del Cabo is no exception. This seven-hour tour includes a session with the Coffee Lab barista; a craft beer tasting at Boutique Hotel Drift; a tour of jewelry workshops and a luxury BajaMed dinner at Casa San José 23400.

Beyond the Bridge

The community of San José del Cabo is said to be an experience in itself. A place known for its historical buildings, artistic corridors, exquisite gastronomic proposals and vibrant nights, participants on this tour experience San José by foot at a leisurely pace, taking in all of its details.

Todos Santos

Explore one of the most picturesque villages of Baja California Sur. A visit to Todos Santos is like traveling back in time. This 10-hour tour allows visitors to tap into the history of the community and provides a chance to talk face to face with the local artists in their studios and galleries. There will also be a BajaMed meal at Jazamango and a final stop at sunset for a breathtaking view of the sea from a bar at the Hotel San Cristóbal.

Rustic Cuisine

The cuisine of Baja California is said to holds in its flavors "a legacy that has given identity to the people of the region." During a six-hour tour, participants will travel by Jeep 4 x 4 through the mountains, switch to a cargo mule and finally arrive in La Candelaria. The visit to this unforgettable community will include an introduction to local artisans and a rustic dinner.

Farm to Table

Farm to table has become quite the buzzword. In Los Cabos, this trend will be explored through a visit to Miraflores. The trip includes walking through orchards and gathering ingredients that will be used for your country dinner at the Tiki Cabo Garden. There will also be a blind tasting of peninsular wines and an evening under the stars.

El Triunfo

Yet another experience designed to provide a journey through time, this blast to the past involves a 10-hour tour of the Ruta de Oro (Golden Route). The tour begins with freshly roasted coffee and artisanal bread in Todos Santos and exploration of the picturesque town including walking along its Centennial Street, admiring the Todos Santos Mission, the great Manuel Márquez de León General Theater, and the mythical Hotel California. Next, you explore the history of El Triunfo, a small town of 327 inhabitants that was founded 300 years ago. Before the experience ends there's a workshop about native corn.
