Every State’s Most Family-Friendly City
Destination & Tourism TravelPulse Staff April 15, 2022
Ann Arbor, Michigan
This one is a bit of a dichotomy. Ann Arbor, of course, is the home to one of the biggest and greatest research institutions in the country with more than 30,000 students on the University of Michigan campus. No doubt it’s one of the great college towns in the country but it’s also one of the most diverse, eclectic and family-friendly cities around. The school districts are outstanding, there is a vibrant music scene and, of course, top-notch college sports. And Detroit is just 45 minutes away to the east and Toledo, Ohio, and its famous zoo are an hour south.
