Oahu has entered Tier 3 of its COVID-19 Reopening Strategy. This means that social gatherings are permitted up to ten individuals. Restaurants and museums now allow groups of ten individuals, too. Hawaii requires a negative COVID-19 nucleic acid amplification test (NAAT) taken no more than 72 hours before your flight to the state. The state has also created the Malama Hawaii Campaign, which earns you a free night at a participating resort across the Hawaiian islands by participating in a voluntourism activity.

Oahu features several incredible resorts to choose from. The Aulani is a family favorite, with its KA AWA'A Luau, which returns at the end of the month. ESPACIO has partnered with the Japanese beauty brand, Shiseido, to offer its guests ocean-friendly sunscreen after Hawaii banned sunscreens that harm coral reefs. Museums are open for visitors in Oahu. Popular museums are the Battleship Missouri Memorial, Bernice Pauahi Bishop Museum, Pacific Fleet Submarine Museum, the Pearl Harbor Memorial and the Pearl Harbor Aviation Museum.
