With so many things to see and do, it's not surprising that the Big Apple is the top trending destination on TikTok. Views for videos of New York have reached 216 billion! Whether it's the trendy food, cool art galleries, beautiful city scenery or anything else, there are so many great things to enjoy in America's biggest city.

Dubai might be a surprising choice to reach second place on TikTok, but it's an incredibly modern city with plenty of interesting and fun things to see. This city has reached 37.1 billion views on TikTok and has no doubt become a bucket-list destination for many younger people.

The third most popular city on TikTok has been a bridge between Europe and Asia for millennia, and with the Grand Bazaar, Haggia Sofia and so many other awesome things to see and experience, it's no wonder why Istanbul, Turkey has received 16.9 billion views.

Whether it be discovering unique hole-in-the-wall businesses or viewing the incredible London architecture, TikTokers love Britain's capital city so much that it's the fourth most popular city in the world on the app, garnering 13.9 billion views.

Barcelona has long been a popular destination for photography and architecture lovers thanks to Gaudi's influence on the large city. This has not been lost on TikTokers, either, who love watching videos of the city so much that it's ranked fifth in the world with 12.6 billion views.

Ah, Paris...who doesn't like seeing photos or watching videos of the City of Love? Whether you're a fan of the art, architecture or just the idea of romance, Paris is an incredible destination to be. It's ranked sixth in the world, with 11.2 billion views.

Mumbai is where it all comes together in India: religions, fashion, finance, ancient history and, of course, Bollywood. While it may come as a surprise to see this giant of a city on this list, there are tons of interesting things to discover about the city, and that lends a certain mystery to it. Mumbai ranks in seventh place, with 9.6 billion views.

Hawaii is a popular destination for both Americans and international travelers, luring them with beautiful volcanic beaches, stunning rainforests and even more beautiful waterfalls and volcanoes. The state ranks eighth on this list, with 9.4 billion views.

Miami follows Hawaii with 9.1 billion views in ninth place: as an epicenter for awesome food and incredible nightlife, it's no wonder that the second-largest city in Florida is so popular among the younger crowd.

In tenth place is Toronto, Canada, with 8.4 billion views. With its historic buildings side by side and its more modern ones, the city, which is regularly used as a filming location, is full of charm and fun things to see and do.
