The American Society of Travel Advisors (ASTA) is expanding its ASTA Mentoring Program, which is now in its fourth year.
Designed to support travel advisors in their current career state, the program connects experienced industry professionals with advisors, providing guidance and insight on navigating the travel industry, growing their businesses and more. The one-on-one mentorship model provides direct support for advisors.
Beyond business development and guidance, the ASTA Mentoring Program also provides personal development, leadership skills, confidence and more.
ASTA’s upcoming Travel Advisor Conference in San Diego, California, will build on the mentorship program with a new mentoring roundtable and a course on mentoring for those looking to learn how best to support newer or junior colleagues.
“Mentorship is one of the most powerful ways we can support the next generation of travel advisors while also helping experienced advisors continue to grow,” said Zane Kerby, President and CEO of ASTA. “This program is about meeting advisors where they are, helping them build confidence and giving them access to the kind of insight that can make a lasting difference in their careers.”
Sister publication to TravelPulse, Travel Weekly, awarded the program with Magellan Awards for the Best Overall Agent Education Program in 2024 and 2025.
