The American Society of Travel Advisors (ASTA) is sharing new and exciting details ahead of its inaugural The Summit travel event this fall.
Scheduled for October 14–16, 2026, at the Sheraton Downtown Denver in Denver, Colorado, the premier event—which is now open for registration—will bring together some of the travel industry's most influential leaders for high-level business discussions, peer connections and strategic insights.
"The Summit is designed for travel leaders who understand the value of being in the right room with the right people. This event brings together the executives, agency leaders and partners driving the industry forward," ASTA President and CEO Zane Kerby said in a statement.
"When your peers are here, when the conversations shaping what comes next are happening here, this becomes a gathering you simply cannot afford to miss," added Kerby.
Confirmed Speakers
ASTA has already confirmed an impressive lineup of speakers for October's event, including:
- Bob Somers, Senior Vice President of Global Sales at Delta Air Lines
- Jennifer Steinke, Director of Travel at Moderna
- Michael Linenberg, Managing Director at Deutsche Bank Securities Inc.
- Sam Gilliland, Chief Executive Officer of Accelya
- Denby Bruzas, Vice President of Implementations at Spotnana
The three-day event in the Rockies will feature two distinct Ascents, including the Corporate Ascent and the Leisure & Luxury Ascent.
The Corporate Ascent
Formerly ASTA’s Corporate Travel Executive Forum, The Corporate Ascent will bring together top corporate travel buyers, Travel Management Company (TMC) leaders and industry power players for a forum that delivers insights, real conversations and effective strategies on the issues reshaping corporate travel, from airline strategy and distribution disruption to evolving commercial models and traveler expectations, according to ASTA.
The Leisure & Luxury Ascent
Formerly ASTA's Premium Business Summit, The Leisure & Luxury Ascent will unite agency owners, advisors and industry leaders from across the leisure travel marketplace for a forum that produces new ideas, real conversations and practical strategies on the topics transforming the consumer travel space, from evolving client expectations and emerging travel trends to business growth, innovation and the changing advisor value proposition, ASTA says.
Special Excursions
Attendees will work hard and play equally hard as The Summit will include special excursions such as the Red Rocks Reset and The Summit Classic. The latter will invite attendees to golf at one of Colorado’s most exclusive courses.
