Emirates and Delta Air Lines have been named two of the best air carriers in the world, according to a new ranking of outstanding companies in the travel industry.
Both airlines were recently awarded the gold prize for best international and domestic carrier, respectively, in the Travvy Awards. The annual awards ceremony recognizes top travel providers across all aspects of the industry, with more than 100 award categories honoring everyone from cruise lines and tour operators to car rental companies and tourism boards.
The Travvy Awards are especially prestigious because they are selected by true industry insiders: travel advisors themselves.

The 11th annual Travvy Awards were held at the Greater Fort Lauderdale Broward County Convention Center on November 6, hosted by Northstar Travel Group’s TravelPulse and AGENTatHOME.
One of the most anticipated awards each year are those for best airlines, which honor outstanding airline consolidators, as well as domestic and international carriers.
In the Travvy Award category for Best Airline Consolidator, Sky Bird Travel & Tours were awarded the gold prize once again. The company also nabbed the top spot in 2024. Coming in second place was Centrav with the silver award, followed by Cosmopolitan Travel Service, which was awarded bronze.
Delta Air Lines was named the Best Domestic Airline, winning the gold Travvy Award in the category—an honor it also won in 2024. United Airlines was awarded the silver ranking for Best Domestic Airline, and American Airlines took home the bronze statue.
As the evening continued, Emirates was awarded the gold Travvy Award for Best International Airline, followed by Air Canada, which won silver in the category, and Air France, which was awarded with bronze.
