This winter, travelers will have several new, affordable flight options to escape to the Sunshine State.
Budget carrier Allegiant Air is launching five new routes to Florida, all set to take off in late 2025 and early 2026, including from a brand-new destination to its route map: Huntsville, Alabama. To celebrate the launch, introductory one-way fares are available for as little as $39.
The carrier will serve Huntsville International Airport (HSV) from three cities in Florida. The first of the three routes to launch will be service from Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport (FLL) on November 19, 2025, followed by new flights from St. Pete–Clearwater International Airport (PIE) starting on March 6, 2026. The final Huntsville route will begin on February 12, 2026, from Orlando Sanford International Airport (SFB). Fares on all three routes are available from $39 one-way for a limited time.
Allegiant will also launch two additional Florida routes from Wisconsin and New York. Starting January 16, 2026, the carrier will begin new service between Appleton, Wisconsin (ATW), and Orlando International Airport (MCO), with one-way fares starting at $69. Then on February 13, 2026, Allegiant will start new flights between Rochester, New York (ROC), and Sarasota Bradenton International Airport (SRQ), with introductory fares available from $59 one-way.
The low-cost carrier operates a leisure-focused, point-to-point network, meaning all of its flights are always nonstop routes, including the new launches.
The announcement of new winter flights follows another recent route expansion that saw Allegiant add seven new routes for fall 2025, connecting the Midwest and East Coast to Florida. "Coming off the heels of an announcement two weeks ago, we are excited to continue our growth trajectory," said Drew Wells, Allegiant's chief commercial officer. "As a leisure focused airline our unique business model allows us to quickly respond to consumer demand and connect underserved markets to top vacation destinations. This expansion bolsters our service in existing markets and we look forward to introducing our brand of service to a new market."
The airline also extended its flight schedule through May 2026, allowing travelers to start booking vacations for early next summer.
To score the most affordable tickets on the new routes, travelers should plan to book—and fly—as soon as possible. The introductory fares must be booked by August 13, 2025, for travel by May 19, 2026, to be eligible for the deal.
