Colombian airline Avianca is celebrating its 104th birthday with savings of up to 85 percent off one-way flights this December.
To take advantage, customers can book December 5-8, 2023, for travel between December 15, 2023, and October 31, 2024.
Travelers can book the discounted fares on Avianca's website, mobile app or any of the physical sales points.
"We might be adding another candle to the cake, but we want our customers to have the real treat – more flights, exploring dream destinations, doing business, visiting family – because, at Avianca, we believe the sky is for everyone," Rolando Damas, Avianca’s sales director for North America, Central America and the Caribbean, said in a statement.

"The century-plus legacy that Avianca carries is undeniable," added Damas. "Our team is writing the ongoing story of Latin American aviation with more than 13,000 of us going all out to keep the skies connected for many more years."
Avianca, which operated its very first flight on December 5, 1919, in Barranquilla, Colombia, is the world's second oldest airline. Today, it boasts the largest route network in Colombia and one of the most extensive in Latin America, operating over 140 routes across 75 destinations.
The airline recently underwent a transformation in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic.
