Cathay Holidays has just unveiled a platform refresh that includes a new booking site powered by Expedia Group.Cathay Holidays’ partnership with Expedia Group (which was already in place in select Asian markets) now extends to include Australia, Canada, the United States, and the United Kingdom.As part of the new collaboration between the two companies consumers will have “a streamlined experience for planning and booking their next trip,” according to Cathay. That includes allowing customers to explore 900,000 properties and 200,000 travel activities in 250,000 destinations worldwide through the new booking site. “We are extremely excited for the launch of our reimagined Cathay Holidays travel hub, which makes it even easier for our valued customers to book their next unforgettable adventure,” Cathay Director Customer Lifestyle Paul Smitton, said in a statement. Expedia Group Vice President for Strategic Partnerships Stephen Cheng added that the strategic collaboration with Cathay Holidays is part of Expedia Group’s commitment to empowering its airline partners. “By utilizing our industry-leading White Label Template technology to power the new Cathay Holidays travel hub, we can augment their offerings, helping travelers unlock a wider range of options and a seamless booking experience,” said Cheng.Cathay Holidays (which is Cathay Pacific's tour company) also offers an exclusive collection of travel experiences curated by its travel advisors. The experiences available range from secluded Michelin-star dining experiences in Hong Kong to stays in the Bukchon Hanok Village in Seoul.
