Delta is expanding its flight schedule at one of its busiest airports for a key vacation period next spring.
The carrier is adding dozens of roundtrip flights and thousands of new seats to its schedule from Boston, just in time for local holiday Patriots’ Day and the peak of 2027 spring break travel.
During the 10 days surrounding Patriots’ Day, which is celebrated every year on April 19, Delta will add more than 45 roundtrip flights and 6,000 seats departing Boston.
That’s 15% more seats for the 2027 holiday than the carrier offered in 2026.
The expansion focuses on added frequencies and additional capacity to sunny destinations in Florida and the Caribbean.
Travelers will have access to new flight options from Boston (BOS) to popular Florida markets, including Orlando (MCO), Sarasota (SRQ), Fort Myers (RSW), Panama City (ECP), Jacksonville (JAX), and new service to Destin-Fort Walton Beach (VPS).
Elsewhere in the southern U.S., Delta will add new frequencies to favorite vacation spots like Charleston, South Carolina (CHS); Savannah, Georgia (SAV); and Myrtle Beach, South Carolina (MYR). Flights to New Orleans (MSY) will be operated on a larger aircraft for additional capacity.
Caribbean-bound fliers will find added frequencies across glamorous island locales, such as Turks and Caicos (PLS), San Juan (SJU), Punta Cana (PUJ), Cancun (CUN), Aruba (AUA), and Nassau, Bahamas (NAS).
Patriots’ Day honors the first battles of the American Revolutionary War, which began in the Massachusetts towns of Lexington and Concord on April 19, 1775. In Massachusetts, the day is commemorated with a week off school, making it a popular vacation time for many families.
