Delta Air Lines is bringing back its seasonal wine program and offering new seasonally inspired chef-created meals this holiday season.
“Memorable meals are part of the travel experience—whether you’re 35,000 feet in the air or exploring the streets of your destination,” said Kristen Manion Taylor, S.V.P. of Inflight Service at Delta Air Lines. “This is why we work with the best chefs, sommeliers and partners to keep our onboard food and beverage program fresh—because a thoughtfully curated in-flight menu can turn routine travel into an unforgettable journey."
New Meals
New menus are coming onboard for Delta One, First Class and Delta Premium Select cabins on domestic and international flights. Customers can enjoy dishes like cocoa-braised short rib with polenta, butternut squash ravioli with beurre blanc and the pecan honey bun with apple-cranberry compote.
Vintages and Varietals
Delta teamed up with master sommelier Andrea Robinson to curate a list of twenty wines this season, such as Domaine Bousquet Reserve Organic Malbec from Mendoza, Argentina; Barbanera in Bianco from Tuscany; and Ken Forrester Old Vine Reserve Chenin Blanc from South Africa.
Those traveling in Delta One and First Class seats can enjoy the largest selection of wines to choose from, while those flying in the other categories on long-haul international routes can also choose between a complimentary red or white.
Sustainability in the Sky
Delta will be transitioning from plastic cups to paper cups on international flights later in November, later rolling out the cups across its entire feet during 2025. The transition will eliminate nearly 7 million pounds of single-use plastics a year.
