With the summer of 2015 fast approaching, Delta Air Lines has announced the return of nonstop service to a trio of popular routes next June.

According to a series of press releases, Delta will offer nonstop flight service between Stockholm and New York, Malaga and New York and Dublin and Atlanta beginning in 2015.

Delta will begin offering the latter route five times per week as soon as March 29, but will provide daily service beginning on June 1. Passengers flying that route will do so aboard a Boeing 767-300 aircraft with seating for up to 225.

"Recent research from Tourism Ireland shows that the number of visitors from North America grew 13.9 percent in 2013 compared to the previous year," said Perry Cantarutti, Delta's senior vice president for Europe, Middle East and Africa in a statement.

"Our seasonal flights from Dublin to Atlanta will complement our year-round service to New York-JFK and offer more travel options between Ireland and the United States."

Service between Stockholm's Arlanda Airport and New York's John F. Kennedy International Airport will begin four time a week on June 5 and increase to five times a week on June 15.

That route will feature a 164-seat Boeing 757-200 aircraft.

The same aircraft will be used for the airline's nonstop service between Malaga's Costa del Sol Airport and JFK. Service for that route will begin five times a week on June 4 before increasing to daily service on June 29.

"According to Malaga Tourismo, the United States has been the largest growth market recently for visitors to the local area," said Perry Cantarutti, Delta's senior vice president for Europe, Middle East and Africa in a statement.

"With 2015 being the eighth year of our seasonal flights between Malaga and New York, we remain committed to the region and facilitating travel and trade between Spain and the United States."

Economy class passengers flying any of the three aforementioned routes will receive four additional inches of legroom and 50 percent more recline than they would on Delta's standard international economy class.
