Passengers aboard a Delta Air Lines flight to Guatemala faced an hours-long delay after their plane clipped wings with a parked aircraft on Sunday morning.

The incident occurred as Delta Air Lines flight 1830 was pushing back from its gate at Atlanta’s Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport (ATL), according to local news station Fox 5 Atlanta.

The parked plane was empty, but Delta’s Boeing 757-200 aircraft had 192 passengers, four flight attendants and two pilots on board. Fortunately, there were no injuries reported.

After the planes made contact, passengers were transferred to another aircraft. However, the incident caused a nearly four-hour delay.

According to data from flight-tracking website FlightAware, Delta flight 1830 was scheduled to take off on Sunday, August 10, at 10:41 a.m. EST, but the aircraft didn’t depart until 2:03 p.m. EST. The flight landed safely in Guatemala City at 3:01 p.m. CST, about three and a half hours late.

In a statement to the local news channel, Delta apologized to its customers for the experience and the delay in their travel.
