Delta Air Lines is prepared to launch its New Distribution Capability (NDC) solution by the end of 2026, a spokesperson for the airline told Business Travel News.
The news comes more than two years after Delta first unveiled its NDC strategy.
The Atlanta-based carrier has NDC distribution agreements in place with Amadeus, Sabre and Travelport, while American Express Global Business Travel will include its NDC offers in the Amex GBT marketplace, according to BTN.
Delta said it continues "to make progress on integration with our [global distribution system] partners" and plans "to meet customers in their channel of choice."
"Our big focus as we move into 2026 is all about change and making sure that we are providing the best-in-class customer service," Delta managing director of sales and innovation Sara Reid told BTN last November. "Once we feel like we have it right, we'll have a public launch."
Executives for the airline will reveal more details regarding NDC launch timing at the next Delta Business Showcase event in late September.
