Delta Air Lines is adding a notable new point in the Middle East to its route map this fall.
The Atlanta-based carrier just announced plans to begin its first-ever nonstop service to Saudi Arabia in October 2026.
Delta will begin flights to the Saudi capital city of Riyadh from its home hub in Atlanta on October 23, 2026.
The launch will mark the first nonstop flight between the United States and Saudi Arabia operated by a U.S. airline.
The new route “is a meaningful step in connecting our customers to one of the world’s most important and fast-growing regions,” said Delta President Peter Carter. “Through our Atlanta hub, we’re making travel between the United States and Saudi Arabia more direct and more accessible, while delivering the premium experience, reliability and care customers expect from Delta.”
The airline will operate three flights per week aboard its Airbus A350-900 plane, which is outfitted with four cabin classes: Delta One, Delta Premium Select, Delta Comfort and Delta Main.
Fares are now on sale, with roundtrip tickets from Atlanta starting at $670 or 30,000 SkyMiles plus $77.
Delta advises travelers to verify the latest entry guidance and visa requirements with Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the national tourism board, Visit Saudi, before booking.
