Travelers at one of the busiest airport hubs in the country now have an exclusive new area to rest, refuel, and access a dose of glamor before their next flight.
Chase has just opened the doors to its newest airport lounge: an expansive Chase Sapphire Lounge by The Club at Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport (DFW).
Officially opened on July 16, the new lounge spans 18,000 square feet over two levels and offers travelers amenities like nap pods, spa treatments, and gourmet Texas cuisine.
The new space is located in Terminal D by Gate D25 and is open to Chase Sapphire Reserve cardholders.
“As Chase continues to deepen its commitment to North Texas, we're proud to bring Sapphire Reserve cardmembers an elevated travel experience that reflects the scale and energy of the region, while celebrating its pioneering spirit, local flavor and rich cultural identity,” said Dana Pouwels, Chase’s head of airport lounge benefits.
Highlights of the new lounge include bookable rest pods, a wellness area with Face Haus facials and showers, as well as a dedicated family room and nursing area.
Travelers can expect the lounge’s design to evoke a stylish sense of place, with Texas design elements showcased in the heart of the lounge. A striking bar with a tiered brass canopy and stone countertops will offer regionally inspired cocktails and Texas-brewed beer as well as charging stations.
Also on offer is locally roasted coffee from Fort Worth-based Cherry Coffee, and dishes from popular Dallas restaurant Encina, including blue corn butterscotch pancakes and slab bacon with cheddar grits.
“From dishes inspired by the flavors of the Lone Star State to design that echoes the area's blend of Western heritage and modern skyline, every detail, including the lounge network's first-ever whiskey lounge, reflects Dallas–Fort Worth,” Pouwels said.
Inside the whiskey lounge, guests will find a whiskey cart with carefully selected Texas whiskeys, a custom barrel selection exclusive to the lounge, guided pairings, and a featured cocktail. The lounge-within-a-lounge concept is meant to be a refined atmosphere where guests can sip drinks and watch sports.
In addition to Chase Sapphire Reserve cardholders, the lounge is accessible to travelers with the J.P. Morgan Reserve credit card and The Ritz-Carlton Credit Card.
The DFW lounge is Chase’s eighth location in its network, which also includes lounges in Boston (BOS), Las Vegas (LAS), New York (JFK and LGA), Philadelphia (PHL), Phoenix (PHX), and San Diego (SAN).
A ninth lounge is planned to open soon at Los Angeles International Airport (LAX).
