Air travelers can now enjoy the latest addition to United
Clubs at Newark Liberty International Airport as United
Airlines debuts its newest club location.
The 18,000 square-foot space showcasing modern design,
local-inspired art and upgraded amenities
is located in Terminal C near gate C74 and opens to the public on October 11,
2023. As a result, the pop-up United Club near gate 93 will close with the new
club debut.
Visitors can self-scan to enter the United Club, with more
than 400 seats providing plenty of room to relax, work, dine and socialize.
Other amenities include high-speed Wi-Fi and a wellness room. Complimentary
food and beverage offerings include a full buffet featuring local products, a
seasonal rotating menu, and a premium bar.
Custom artwork and Manhattan-inspired design give travelers
a sense of place reflective of the iconic spaces in midtown Manhattan. The club
features a custom-made ceiling art piece designed by local architect and
designer turned artist Ron Norsworthy. Located in the club entryway, the
ceiling piece is blue with vibrant gold detailing and inspired by Grand Central
Station.
The opening of this location marks the completion of
full-scale United Club renovations at Newark Liberty International Airport –
joining locations near gate C123 and new Terminal A – making Newark the first
hub to fully reflect the new club design and amenities.
As part of United’s ongoing commitment to renovate and
introduce new United Club locations throughout its network, the newest Newark
location is the fifth in a series of United Club locations to open in 2023,
marking a year of expansion and growth.
In January, a new club location opened at O’Hare
International Airport, followed by a new one at Newark Liberty International
Airport. Two new club locations recently opened at Denver International
Airport, including the largest club in United’s network.
