United Airlines continues to expand its onboard Starlink Wi-Fi service, now offering it on nearly half its daily departures and launching a new tracker tool that lets passengers see whether their flight offers the service.
The Starlink tracker tool, available at StarlinkTracker.United.com, is updated daily with United flights that offer Starlink Wi-Fi service. Travelers can enter their travel dates and flight numbers within three days of departure to see if they’ll have Starlink onboard. The app also displays aircraft changes.
United Airlines also notifies passengers of Starlink service available onboard their flight in pre-flight emails, text notifications and on their flight status page on the United app.
"Starlink gives customers even more reasons to choose United and keep coming back," said Andrew Nocella, United's Executive Vice President and Chief Commercial Officer. "The overwhelmingly positive feedback from our customers and strong response to our 'Switch to Better Wi-Fi' status match offer show how much that matters. Our new tracker makes it easier for customers to see which flights they can experience it on as we quickly expand Starlink across our fleet."
The airline is also extending its new “Switch to Better Wi-Fi” status match campaign through October 22, allowing Delta SkyMiles and American AAdvantage members to earn United Premier status through January 2028 by meeting the offer’s spending requirements and taking a United or United Express flight within 90 days of applying.
