United Airlines is elevating in-flight entertainment for its passengers, thanks to its latest collaboration.

The Chicago-based carrier just announced a new partnership with Apple TV+, which will allow fliers to watch full seasons of the platform's Emmy-nominated, hit shows like Severance, Silo, Ted Lasso, Shrinking, and Slow Horses for free on more than 130,000 seat-back screens and personal devices in the United mobile app.

“That means customers can catch an episode or two on a short-haul route and pick up right where they left off on their next United flight, or binge the entire season in one sitting on a long-haul flight,” the airline said.

Apple Original series will now be available through a special Apple TV+ channel within the airline’s in-flight entertainment system. The collaboration has launched with the whole first seasons of the aforementioned shows, with first seasons of The Morning Show and Bad Sisters coming online in September.

United says it will continue to add new seasons and content each month, for a total of 250 TV show episodes, feature documentaries, and films available to watch.

“Apple creates groundbreaking original series, and United travelers are going to love watching fan-favorite Apple Originals for free on their next flight,” said Mark Muren, United’s managing director of product, identity and loyalty. “We’re setting a new standard for a premium in-flight experience, and our first-of-its-kind collaboration with Apple TV+ gives fliers more high-quality content options on the latest high-definition seatback screens.”

Adding premium entertainment content is part of a larger push from United to upgrade the seat-back experience across its fleet, which includes installing entertainment screens at every seat—which will add up to a total of more than 300,000 screens—and introducing new, massive 27-inch screens in its forthcoming reimagined Polaris business-class cabin.

In June, the airline also launched an exclusive partnership with Spotify to bring the platform’s podcasts, audiobooks, and music to its passengers mid-flight.
