Air New Zealand is at it again.
Let's see: They've used "The Hobbit" as a theme, as well as the "Men In Black" film, and have plucked the talents of its country's famed rugby team, all to star in the airline's safety video.
Virtually all of the videos have been huge viral successes despite their original intention of being an onboard message. Now, Air New Zealand is back with yet another epic video touting its Northland region called "Summer of Safety."
This one features model-actress Rachel Hunter, a New Zealand native, as well as Game of Thrones actor Joe Naufahu (Khal Moro on the show), IndyCar champion Scott Dixon, and pole vaulter Eliza McCartney, an Olympic bronze medalist.
"One of our goals at Air New Zealand is to inspire visitors to travel beyond the traditional gateways," Jodi Williams, general manager of global brand and content marketing, said in a statement. "This latest edition is a great opportunity to not only deliver a safety message but also to showcase the very best of the North to help drive economic benefit for the region."
