Say goodbye to a few pastries, some cereal boxes and lukewarm milk, plastic cutlery that breaks when you try to butter a bagel and anything else you ever knew about an airline lounge: The Emirates Airlines first-class lounge in Dubai rivals that of any Las Vegas buffet.
The lounge itself is just a name; the area is as big as any Vegas food space and looks more like its own concourse.

In fact, it runs the lengths of several gates while the seating area is so massive that it offers buffet areas right near the games. You don't have to walk a mile to get a generous plate of manicotti and then trek all the way back to be near the gate of your departure.
In addition to the buffet, there's also a regular sit-down restaurant, pour-yourself champagne and wine on ice. There's a bar. There's a cigar lounge. There are day-beds in secluded rooms.
And then there's a food.
My goodness, the food.
