Spirit Airlines announced Thursday it extended its booking schedule through February 13, 2019, while adding seven exciting new routes.
The new Spirit booking schedule and additional routes will give travelers from Kansas City, Newark, Philadelphia, Detroit and Atlanta more options when planning their next vacation.
For Philadelphia travelers, Spirit will launch seasonal service to Southwest Florida International Airport in Fort Myers on December 13 and service to Tampa International Airport four times a week starting December 14.
Travelers in Newark will be able to utilize Spirit's daily year-round nonstop service between Newark Liberty International Airport and Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport beginning September 6.
"We know many of our guests love to plan ahead and save," Spirit Airlines vice president Mark Kopczak said in a statement. "By extending our booking schedule, guests have the opportunity to lock in low fares for the holiday travel season. With the addition of several new routes, they'll have even more destinations to choose for their winter getaways."
Starting November 9, Spirit will launch nonstop seasonal flights from Kansas City to Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport four times a week. The airline will also launch seasonal service between Detroit Metro Airport and Palm Beach International Airport four times a week beginning December 21.

Passengers on Spirit flights will be excited to learn about the addition of high-speed Wi-Fi connectivity to the airline's fleet, which is expected to be completed by the summer of 2019.
