Enterprise Rent-A-Car is one of the largest automotive rental companies in the United States, but the brand is expanding internationally and the growth has continued in Latin American countries, including Costa Rica, Guatemala and Nicaragua.
According to an official press release from Enterprise Holdings, Inc., the company has added Grupo ANC as a franchise partner in Latin America. Enterprise Rent-A-Car locations in Costa Rica have already been opened at Daniel Oduber Quiros International Airport in Liberia and Juan Santamaria International Airport in San Jose.
The expansion also takes Enterprise Rent-A-Car to Guatemala and Nicaragua. The company will be represented by National Car Rental at La Aurora International Airport in Guatemala City, Guatemala, and Augusto Cesar Sandino International Airport in Managua, Nicaragua, according to the press release.
Enterprise vice president of global franchising, Peter A. Smith, released a statement through the company's official corporate website about the expansion and how this is only the beginning:
"The launch of Enterprise Rent-A-Car in Latin America means international travelers and local residents can experience the brand's renowned customer service and great rates. Costa Rica, in particular, is an extremely popular tourism destination for our customers, making it a great starting point for extending the Enterprise brand into Latin America."
According to the company's official press release, Enterprise Holdings is the, "largest car rental company in the world, as measured by revenue, employees and fleet." Add in the recent expansion to Latin America-and across the world-and the brand will continue to blossom.
Enterprise Rent-A-Car has already undergone several major upgrades over the last few years. Not only did the company make its debut in the Caribbean last year, but it also has made major advancements in Europe.
Enterprise Rent-A-Car continues to thrive as an industry leader and the international expansion only strengthens the company's grip on the global market.
